Particle Effects
Particle Effects
Overview
This project includes particle effects I created in Unity to improve visual feedback and make the game feel more active. I worked on the Bunsen burner fire effect and the confetti effect for the Petri Dish end screen.
My Contribution
For the Bunsen burner, I created a flame effect using Unity’s Particle System. I experimented with different settings, especially the colour and movement of the particles, until the fire looked suitable for the laboratory environment.
For the end screen, I created a confetti particle effect that plays when the player completes the experiment. This was added to make the reward screen feel more satisfying and celebratory.

What I Learned
Through these effects, I learned how Unity’s Particle System can be used to create visual feedback and improve the feel of a game. I also learned that small effects, like fire or confetti, can make interactions feel more polished and rewarding.
